CIFF Guangzhou 2024: A Snapshot
Revolution of Furniture Business Approach
In CIFF 2017, the “Pinnacle Awards Asia-Pacific” witnessed a major success. This was brought about by a partnership between CIFF and the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD). Out of more than a thousand submissions, 30 uniquely designed pieces were highlighted, earning a special position to unlock new chances for global recognition.
Under the guiding theme “Design trend, global trade, entire supply chain”, CIFF Guangzhou is reimagining its role to fuel the growth of the furniture industry in the midst of global pandemic challenges.
The 53rd edition of the China International Furniture Fair, recognized as China’s standout furniture design event in 2024, is dedicated to highlighting the significance of design. It seeks to establish a business framework that aligns with the current global scenario and the evolving rules of the market.
This new approach uses the combined strengths of China’s expansive domestic market and the rising trend of exports. By seamlessly integrating offline and online platforms, the event aspires to present a more holistic and enriched exhibition experience. This comprehensive showcase aims to capture the entire essence of the furniture industry, ensuring that the needs of both exhibitors and visitors are met and exceeded.
CIFF Guangzhou 2024 will take place in two phases based on product type: Phase 1, from 18 to 21 March, focuses on home, outdoor, leisure furniture, home accessories, and textiles; Phase 2, from 28 to 28 March, on office and chair furniture, hotel items, metal furniture, public space furniture, add-ons, and equipment and tools for furniture production.
Covering 750,000 square meters, CIFF Guangzhou 2024 is set to welcome 4,000 companies and 300,000 trade visitors.
Beyond the number, a real highlight was the fresh partnerships which showed the intent to offer more than just a display. Now, CIFF views itself as an always-evolving entity, dedicated to finding fresh commercial chances for its participants.
